Recycled Rainbow is a four-day event inspired by the Burning Man festival. Everything is organized, built and paid for by volunteers with their own resources. There are no trash cans, so you’ll have to pack your trash out with you. There are no vendors, so you have to bring enough food, drink and whatever else you need for four days. There are no schedules or rules, so you’ll have to make things happen yourself and respect your neighbor.
Tickets are now available online!

Or maybe you’re just thinking about going to Burning Man this year & want to learn more about it from a veteran? We got ya covered.

The kitchen will be open until 2:30 am (and has vegetarian-friendly options.)

Burn season is in full swing and this year’s Recycled Rainbow, COSMOS, is going to be the best yet, but we need your help again. As you know, Recycled Rainbow is an event held by the participants, for the participants. That means we need everyone’s help to make it work. There are lots of ways to participate and one of the most important ways is to volunteer. Recycled Rainbow can’t happen without its volunteers.
Volunteering is a perfect opportunity to get involved, meet great people, give back to the community, and have a lot of fun in the process! It’s fun. It’s sexy! It’s exciting! And it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. And quite often, outside as well. Those who volunteer will be blessed with extra good karma!
Please check the volunteer section of our website to see a list of all the teams you can volunteer for. I am Javamama, Recycled Rainbow’s Hug Goddess and Volunteer Coordinator. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact me at volunteers(at)recycledrainbow(dot)org so I can coordinate with the team leads to be sure all teams have the volunteers they need. If you can do first aid, are certified in CPR, or have a medical background, please consider volunteering for our Emergency Services Department. We can never have too many people doing ESD.
Because of burners like you (YES, YOU!) Recycled Rainbow is a rockin’ event that you won’t want to miss! Be sure to get your tickets now while the prices are low. The price at the gate will be $95.00. And if you volunteer you are eligible for an extra huge Javamama hug whenever you need it (as opposed to the regular hugs that are available to everyone).

Ticket price, like most regional burns, is tiered. The price goes up as the event gets closer to encourage early sales. click here to find out why…

Dear Recycled Rainbow participants,
It has been brought to our attention one of our long-time veterans, Shelby Scanlon (known to some of you as Habari since the days RR took place in a house), will be undergoing brain surgery for Chiari Malformation I, one week prior to our COSMOS Kickoff Party. In her own words “It’s routine, but there’s no guarantee that it will fix anything. There’s a good chance it will, but there’s a chance I’m screwed. It’s frustrating. I can’t clean. I can’t cook. I can’t do much of anything. ” She needs our help!
