What Is Recycled Rainbow?

Recycled Rainbow is a four-day event inspired by the Burning Man festival. Everything is organized, built and paid for by volunteers with their own resources. There are no trash cans, so you’ll have to pack your trash out with you. There are no vendors, so you have to bring enough food, drink and whatever else you need for four days. There are no schedules or rules, so you’ll have to make things happen yourself and respect your neighbor.

Hey everybody! Do you want to know what we’ve been doing since Carnivolution at New Year’s Eve? Well, we’ve been working hard, and want to show it off. Thanks to all who came and donated! The turnout was huge for the Chamber, our setup was decked out RR style, we explained the event extensively to several interested newbies, and made enough donations to rent a port-a-jon with servicing. Mega-kudos to Laura Matis for launching this in the first place, and highest regards to Kat & The Chamber for hosting this most successful fund raiser on our behalf! Recycled Rainbow Primer was a huge success for all who attended. A large space of land was made available and six projects were prototyped with success.
Rain has been a recurring theme in Northeast Ohio this Summer. Everyone was prepared for rain and it became a welcome break from the humidity and heat on Saturday night.
